Setting the Method Used for Time Acquisition
Time information is stored in the connection history log and system events log.
To set the method used for obtaining the time:
1. Log in to the home page.
2. Click Advanced Settings > Device > Log.
3. Select the 3G or the NTP check box.
䡲 3G — Time information is obtained from the 3G (CDMA) network; this is more accurate than
NTP, but requires 3G coverage.
䡲 NTP — The device’s clock is synchronized to a Network Time Protocol server on the
Internet; not as accurate as when using the
3G setting, but doesn’t require 3G coverage.
Use this setting if you have 4G but no 3G coverage.
